Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • What does gold filled mean?
Gold filled is a cost-effective gold that uses real gold that is filled with a less expensive metal on the inside of the beads. If taken care of, it can last as long as solid gold. Gold filled is your best option after solid gold for quality and durability. Unlike gold plated materials which is much thinner and is usually dipped in gold (like a paint), it offers a great option for people with sensitive skin as most people have success with it not tarnishing, flaking off or turning your skin green.
  • What size should I order?
The best way to order is to measure your wrist exactly, then add 1cm to this measurement. If you don't have a flexible measuring tape, use a piece of string then measure the length against a ruler. We also offer the following general adult sizes, if you're buying a gift and are unsure of their size: XS: 15cm S: 16cm M: 17.5cm L: 19cm XL: 21cm Baby and Children's sizes are measured up to 14cm. Anything larger is an adult size bracelet, so if you accidentally order a larger bracelet from a Children's or Baby's listing, we'll send you an invoice for the difference. General children's sizes include: Baby - S: 11cm Toddler - M: 13cm Child - L: 14cm
  • How long will my order take?
All purchases are handmade-to-order. Each order will be made and shipped within 1-2 weeks, with the exception of orders containing charm bracelets, which have an approx. 3 week turnaround time. During peak times, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, please check our social media pages for updates on order capacity. We often require a little longer during busy times to make sure your order can be created and posted in time for you.
  • How much is postage?
Within Australia, we post via registered letter for $7.00 or $10.00 for Express, per order. You will be sent a tracking number. We also ship to NZ for $17.00.
  • How should I get my bracelet on and off?
Bracelets are stretchy and should be rolled on and off your wrist. Please roll one bracelet on at a time. Do not stretch, pull or tug on the bracelet, as this could cause the bracelet to break. Please view our clip in the 'Sizing' link in our website footer for more information and video examples of how best to wear and remove your bracelets.
  • Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
No, all orders are handmade to your specifications, so refunds and returns are not accepted. If you have any queries with your order, please contact me directly as I will be happy to work with you to rectify any issues. Get in touch via our contact form

  • Can I wear my bracelets in water?
Exposure to liquid is at your own discretion, however yes, we wear ours all the time! Prolonged water exposure is not recommended and as with any jewellery, the better you take care of it, the better it will last. Please do not wear your jewellery in a spa as it will oxidise.
  • Will my bracelet tarnish or fade?
The 14K Gold and Rose Gold Filled beads are tarnish RESISTANT, though like any jewellery they might get dirty and need a wipe over from time to time. A very small number of wearers will have tarnishing, however the oils and chemicals from our body will not make these high quality beads tarnish proof. Sterling Silver beads are prone to discolouration, however with silver cleaner, you’ll restore their original finish. This is a normal wear and tear for any sterling silver jewellery. Please do not wear your sterling silver bracelet in the spa - it's also better to avoid the pool. The chemicals and temperatures of these waters can cause your sterling silver to oxidise. The colouring on letter beads are subject to fading. Please avoid exposing your bracelets to oils, perfumes and other harsh chemicals.
  • How should I clean my jewellery?
We recommend you use a soft jewellery cloth to clean and polish our gold-filled products. For Sterling Silver, you may choose to use a silver cleaner as well as a cloth. Please avoid exposing your bracelets to oils, perfumes, and other harsh chemicals, which can damage the metals.
  • Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! While most of our work is direct-to-customer, we are open to wholesale orders. Please submit an enquiry via our contact form.
